Sitting on the train in rush hour for most people is an unpleasant 'avoid at all costs' experience. But when you stop and look among the crowds of passengers you can tell something little about the lives of them all.
The man sitting reading the paper, someone who wants to know what's happening in the world. The girl reading a book by the window trying to forget the world. A man in a suit laptop on his lap phone in his hand, worried about work before the train has stopped in London. The man on the phone to his wife desperate to get home to them. Women putting on make-up they didn't have time for earlier. People with headphones in, music making the journey more bearable. Those asleep against their seats just wanting to be back in bed. The practical ones using the time to book appointments...and those who are happy to just sit and watch the world go by.
