If They Want People To Eat Healthily..

Am I the only one that finds it ridiculous that to buy healthy food costs twice as much to buy unhealthy food! Yes I am aware that unhealthy food is generally cheaper to produce, but seriously..

I mean the other day after work I thought I'll get a sandwich it will be healthier, it cost me nearly £3! Fair enough there was probably more love and care put into that sandwich than a bag of chips, but we are in the middle of a recession..sandwich £3, chips £1..what do they think people are gonna pick!

When I went food shopping with my mum yesterday she wanted low fat yogurts, so I picked up a pack of Muller Rice which said "LOW FAT" only to be told by my mum that it had too many calories! If it's low fat surely it should have less calories?

I don't know what the Government do all day but perhaps they need to rethink their labelling & pricing of foods.
